Along with quality education, we focus on nurturing values that help students become responsible and respectful individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discipline is an important part of this process. At Baldwin Academy, teachers lead as an epitome of guidance and principles. The School Advisory Board places great importance on maintaining discipline in the school. Students and parents are encouraged to refer to the school diary for the code of conduct and expected behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To address cases of indiscipline, the following corrective measures are in place.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Yellow Card<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>Yellow Card<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> may be issued to students from <\/span><b>Class 4 onwards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if they are involved in any of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bunking school, classes, assembly, SUPW, library, or PE<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cheating in tests or examinations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carrying mobile phones or electronic gadgets (these will be confiscated)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bursting crackers in or around school premises<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coming to school in a self-driven vehicle (car, scooter, or bike)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disrupting classroom activities due to indiscipline<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group indiscipline or hooliganism<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using abusive or inappropriate language<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Damaging school property (fine may be imposed)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Habitual late arrival to school or classes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repeatedly coming in improper uniform or without diary, badge, or ID card<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not getting teacher remarks in the diary signed by parents\/guardians<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>**<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Three Yellow Cards will result in <\/span><b>one Red Card.<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h4><b><br \/>\n<\/b>Red Card<\/h4>\n<p><b>A Red Card may be issued to students from Class 4 onwards for serious misconduct, such as:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smoking, drinking, chewing tobacco, or consuming prohibited substances<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ragging, bullying, or harassment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical violence<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Involvement in a police case (may lead to immediate rustication after review)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Three Yellow Cards convert into one Red Card, which may lead to suspension.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*A second Red Card may lead to rustication from the school, subject to management review.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When parents enrol their child at Baldwin Academy, they place their trust in us for their child\u2019s growth and future.
